After almost two years in the making the first UK Field of Women was created on Sunday the 6th of July at Liverpool Cricket Club!

Ricky Tomlinson, Danielle Lloyd, Carly Stenson from Hollyoaks joined thousands of men, women and children at Liverpool Cricket Club to form one of the largest breast cancer support groups ever seen in the UK. 

People traveled from all over the country and as far away as Melbourne, Australia to attend the day. 

It really was an emotional and powerful event and once the pink silhouette was formed, when everyone paused in silence to remember their friends and family affected by breast cancer the aim of having a united show of support for suffers worldwide was finally realised! 

We would like to thank everyone that braved the challenging British weather to stand shoulder to shoulder in the pink lady LUCY and hope that the event will encourage more women to check themselves regularly for signs of breast cancer. 

All money raised from the event will be used by the Linda McCartney Centre to further research, treatment and patient care.
